Zoom Sessions in Distant Learning: Algerian EFL Students’ Perceptions and Attitudes

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when classroom instructions are interrupted, teachers and students approach digitalization become familiar with web conferencing. The present research aims to examine Algerian EFL students’ motivation about use of Zoom, as an asynchronous learning approach, help ‘bridge gaps’, cope changes they encounter while exploring online learning. As such, main questions that set study are: How academically appropriate is Zoom’s integration for enhancing motivation? can perceived obstacles be challenged proper Zoom? To answer these problematic questions, researcher conducted a case twenty at Oran university Algeria. Informal, structured interviews semi-structured questionnaires were employed. This concluded participant have overall positive perspectives using Zoom sessions some limitations. Training ICTs developing perceptions educational platforms applications recommendations zoom classes.
